Pomerančové cupcakes s čokoládou / Orange cupcakes with chocolate

Ještě nikdy jsem nepekla cupcakes. Napekla jsem už spoustu cookies a celkem dost muffinů, ale nikdy ne cupcaky. Vůbec nevím proč, fakt ne. Asi jsem si myslela, že je to hrozně složité a muffiny jsou mnohem jednodušší, nebo já nevím co. Mám ale dnes volno v práci a jsem sama doma, protože Radan v práci je a jen tak z ničeho nic mě napadlo, že upeču cupcakes. Tohle "heslo" jsem následně zadala do googlu a hned první odkaz, na který jsem klikla, se mi zamlouval. Je z BBC food a najdete ho tady. Navíc jsem všechny imgredience měla doma, tak jen stačilo vytáhnout máslo z ledničky, aby se stihlo dostat do pokojové teploty, než budu chtít připravovat polevu. Příprava mi přišla fakt dost jednoduchá a myslím, že teď budu mít nějakou dobu období experimentování s cupcaky (i když jsem trochu opožděná, teda). Jen si budu muset pořídit nějaké nové košíčky, mám jen tyto jedny a tak fotky muffinů z minulého článku a dnešních cupcaků vypadají dost podobně (nehledě na fakt, že mi můj "mobilový fotoaparát" přijde čímdál míň kvalitní.).

Co se týče chuti, tak jsou tyto cupcaky fakt vy-ni-ka-jí-cí, ani jsem to nečekala. Naštěstí jsem většinu odnesla k Radanovi do práce (jinak bych jich sama snědla alespoň pět a to by moc dobré nebylo). Zrovna měli s kolegama přestávku a obědvali. Po asi 10ti minutách, co jsme odešla mi Radan volal, že mi kolegové chtějí něco vzkázat a v telefonu se ozvalo: "dobréééééé". Radan je asi naučil nové slovo :).

Plus, I had all the ingredients at home already so the only think I had to do in advance was to take out butter from the fridge so it would get into room temperature just in time for making the frosting. I found the preparation really easy and I think I will have a "experimenting with cupcakes" phase from now on. But I will have to buy new cupcakes cups, I have just these ones I used for the muffins in previous recipe as well so the pictures looks almost the same (not to mention the fact that my "cell phone camera" is starting to take really bad pictures).

When it comes to taste of these cupcakes, they are de-li-ci-ous, I did not even expect that. Fortunatelly, I brought most of them to Radan´s work. He and his colleagues were on a break at that time and they were just eating lunch. Radan called me about 10minutes after I left and told me he has a message from his colleagues and then they were all screaming "goooood" in Czech. Radan taught them a new word, I guess :).

1 a půl lžičky prášku do pečiva / 1 and half tsp baking power

1 vejce / 1 egg
125ml mléka / 125ml milk
1 lžička vanilkového extraktu / 1 tsp vanilla extract

1 pomeranč (šťáva) / 1 orange, juice only
2 lžičky cukru / 2 tbsp sugar

125g másla, v pokojové teplotě / 125g butter, in room temperature
200g práškového cukru / 200g icing sugar 
3 lžíce mléka / 3 tbsp milk
50g bílé čokolády, rozpuštěné / 50g white chocolate, melted
1 lžička vanilkového extraktu / 1 tsp vanilla extract
5 lžiček pomerančové šťávy / 5 tsp orange juice
žluté barvivo, nemusí být / yellow coloring, not necessary

postup / process

1. Troubu si předehřejte na 170 C. V míse smíchejte prosátou mouku s práškem do pečiva a s cukrem.

EN: Preheat your oven to 170 C. In a bowl, mix sifted flour with baking powder and sugar.

2. Ve vodní lázni si rozpusťte čokoládu s máslem, nechte trochu vychládnout a přidejte mléko, vejce a extrakt..

3. Čokoládovou směs přelijte k mouce s cukrem a chvíli mixujte dohromady.

4. Košíčky na cupcaky dejte do formy a naplňte je zhruba do poloviny. Dejte péct na 15-20min. Mezitím si vymačkejte šťávu z pomeranče a oslaďte ji dvěma lžičkami cukru.

K máslu postupně přidávejte prosátý cukr a po kapkách mléka. Přidejte extrakt, rozpuštěnou čokoládu a cca 5 lžiček pomerančové šťávy a mixujte dohladka. Může obarvit potravinovým barvivem (cca půl lžičky barviva), ale nemusí být. Polevou naplňte zdobící sáček a ozdobte podle svých představ :)
